I've only ever stayed at Harrah's but it was fantastic since the indoor pool turns into a club at night. It was so much fun!

Tropicana had a blast thats where miy bach party was!!, I have also been to Harrahs it was a load of fun, And Borgatta was another great time!! I say as long as you have great friends to go with no matter where you go it will be fun!!

Harrah's and Borgata are great
however they're not on the beach..
but they've both got pools, and Harrah's pool turns into a club at night

Tropicana is alot of fun we have also done a bachelorette party at borgata and we had a great time but everythings more expensive there.

We did the Tropicana for mine, and we had a blast. My friends and I also stayed at Trump Towers this past summer. We actually liked Tropicana a bit more though...more to do there!

Tropicana if you need to be on the beach. Otherwise the Borgata. That's where we always stay and then just can it to the beach.

I just had Bachelorette party on Saturday in the Tropicana and the guys had the Bachelor party in the Borgata. My husband said he actually likes the Tropicana better, that is where we usually stay.
i say TROPICANA!

harrahs and borgota have great night life/party scenes
however, when i went a few weeks ago we stayed at the tropicana bc of the price. it was great though

I've done Borgata and Harrah's, both fun, though I prefer Harrahs pool party.
That said if I were going now I would try the new hotel Revel it is supposed to be awesome!

Depends on the group - Harrahs is supposedly awesome for the club scene @ the pool.
We went for my sister last fall and she is NOT a club type person at all so we stayed @ Borgata/Water Club - Skipped the 'clubs' - Great restaurants and fabulous bars .........

Based on what you've described, i'd actually say Caesars. It is on the boardwalk and attached to.the pier mall whoch has awsm high-end shopping and a ton of restaurants. The Toga Bar is a lot of fun.

The Trop is the best hotel on the beach.
Ive practially stayed in every hotel and I always end up back at the Trop.
The Borgata is too far from the beach, ceasars isnt that nice, the Taj is nice, but doesnt have all the stuff to do at night.
We are actually going to the Trop, end of June for a friends 30th!
I cant wait!

I second Caesar's as a good solution for what you're looking for...it's central on the boardwalk and close to shopping, and you can cab it to Borgata or Harrah's which are a little further from the beach.
Tropicana is usually my go-to but it is at the end of the boardwalk so you'd want to walk a ways down for the beach bars.
