But you girls who are or were on metformin know what I mean! It's like that little pill vaporizes your food as soon as you swallow!!!! OMG not having fun here

1000%...and the worse the food is like fried the worse it is...also if you stop taking the pills for like a week your body has to adjust all over again...its def a beotch!!! I feel your pain!!

still better than throwing up, but geeeeeez. I've been on it for a little over a week and NOW it kicks in. Thank god I'm home or I'd need to move my desk to the bathroom

 That stinks. When I was on it a few years ago, I was sooo careful w/ what I ate because I was afraid that I would get the symptoms that I read a lot about. I basically lived on things like rice, blueberries, and things without a lot of spices/flavor. That ended up really helping out for the first month to allow my stomach to get adjusted to it.

I feel your pain  I am back up to 2000 mg a day  and yet i'm cd 55 and no o or af in sight  If I so much as look at a piece of pasta, i'm screwed!

ive never had a problem with met at all. i just went back on 1500mga week ago and tonight i have bad nausea but i think its cause i had 2 glasses of wine at an event for DH... but ugh my stomach is turning!!
