WWYD? May be a stupid question
So I am in this wedding in May and the bride wants the shoes dyed the EXACT color of the dress, UGHHHHH,
Anywho, she wants them purchased from Davids Bridal since thats where the dresses are from.
I HATE every dyeable shoe on there, so I went into their outlet section and found a pair of shoes for $19.99 that are eh, but I never plan on wearing these ugly purple shoes again so I will deal with it for one day.
Dilemma: I am a size 9, they are out of it, but they do have a 8.5. I can fit into 8.5 depending on the shoe.
Do I buy the 8.5 and say Fuuck it, or spend $60 a get some other ugly purple shoe I will only wear once?
PS They can not be returned.

Are they open toe by chance?
If so you can most likely get away with a half size smaller
If not you might be uncomfy all day in them.

Yes they are open toe & strappy, I just don't want my toes hanging out the front, I hate when I see girls with that lol

Yes they are open toe & strappy, I just don't want my toes hanging out the front, I hate when I see girls with that lol
Are they available n an 8.5 W? Try that, that's actually what I got for my wedding and they fit so nicely. I'm usually an 8.5 but I got an 8W.

I wouldn't buy shoes that don't fit.
I was forced to do that for a wedding & I was miserable. (The MOB wanted us to all have the same exact ones --that she picked), and they didn't come in wide, so I could barely get my feet in them.)
Since it is clearance, you probably can't order & send them back, right?
Do they really have to be from David's Bridal?
If you have a fabric swatch, it doesn't really matter where you get them dyed. My bridesmaid's had theirs done in 2 different states & they matched. (For the record--they wanted shoes to match the dress--I was fine with a metallic or neutral!)
Payless & Zappos have dyeable shoes & you can get them dyed at a shoe repair place.

I called them yesterday and they have the shoe in stock in pink, so I am going to try it on today then see how it fits. If it doesn't fit I will order a different shoe from somewhere else and get it dyed at a repair shop.

Try Payless - they have dyable shoes and pretty cheap (compared)
