i dont think it really matters.
I am not even using a basal thermometer...just my normal digital one (that is target brand) and it seems to do the trick.
I only get my temps as 97.2 instead of 97.25 but I dont think that makes much of a difference

Me too. It works fast and really pinpoints your temp. I like that it has it to the 10th degree so it gives you more accurate temps than a regular thermometer. And it was under $10.

Thanks everyone! Hoping I can find one in store - Target doesn't sell online.
I was in Target today in Farmingdale and it was located in the same section as the rest of the thermometers.
