I registered for my 2nd marathon
I said I would never do it again... and here I am less than 3 months later registering for another one! Its not until October so I am looking forward to training in the nice weather this time compared to a January marathon last time.

Steamtown is a great marathon to PR in!! It is downhill for ten miles and then it is a flat course.

Good luck!! I've only done 2 marathons...but the second time seemed so much easier (as easy as a marathon can be!)

Yeah I hear ya! The first one I was so undertrained, was only looking to finish, stopped to take 20 pictures with disney characters, etc. Now I know what to expect and I know I can do so much better. I feel like this is my first "real" one, kwim.

I woosed out of the LI Marathon - insetad I decided to do my 3rd half and PR! I hope to do a marathon in the fall. You are my hero!!!!

Thanks for the reminder! I got shut out 2 years ago when they sold out in july. (Had newborn last year)
This one has been on my list since I started fulls. Im just nervous about the quads. I did Mohawk-hudson which is less than half the drop and it was painful.

I'm still trying to find the courage to do my first (dropped out last year, but doing 9+1 again to get in for fall '13)
