home owners insurance
Who gave you the best deal? What other companies can I call besides geico, all state, state farm? I want to get quotes from as many people as possible to get the best possible rates. Thanks!

We're going through this search right now.
So far liberty mutuals quote is the lowest. We still have to call state farm, farmers, and ... yeah. That's it
Keep in mind that if you also include your auto with the same company your rate goes down too.

We just got homeowners and i called many of the same places.. The best one was Royal brokers in Babylon. They were very good and had the best price..Geico actually does not write there own policies and quoted me using the same place royal brokers found. Go figure..Ask for Mel super nice..

We called a bunch of places and then, someone told us about an insurance agency, they gave us the best price!

We just switched to encompass for homeowners and car insurance and saved $600+ a year.

Thanks everyone! Im going to make a ton of phone calls tomorrow.
Now those of you that went through some broker..how does that work exactly? Do they all have access to the same info? Can I call a bunch of people and see who gives me the best quote? Or will they all be the same?

I am a broker if you would like me to quote some carriers for you.
The way it works is we enter your info into our quoting system, this will generate a premium within each carrier we deal with this way we can see who would offer you the lowest premium.

State Farm. I called brokers and about 5 companies! You never know who will give you the best quote. Be prepared to call a lot of people. YOu will get a huge range as well.
