This happened to me to @ 10 weeks, I woke up with BRIGHT RED blood, and it was alot. I went to the ER bc it was 4 in the morning. Everything ended up being fine and I will be 14 weeks tomorrow and havent bled since. I was told to take it easy, but thats kind of hard with an almost 2 year old at home, but im trying!
My OB said the bleeding can come your placent shifting/moving.
Glad to hear everything is better.

I am so happy everything is OK! It must have been the scariest experience, and even though I don't know you at all, I totally teared up reading the first half of your post, and was soooo happy to read the update!

omg i just saw this entire post. i am sooo sooo sooo sorry you had that scare, but sooo sooo sooo relieved and happy for the outcome. i can imagine exactly how you must have been feeling last night. and for no more of THAT!

Awesome awesome awesome!!! I know what you were feeling, I was spotting and then had a gush of red blood. Worst feeling in the world! Evrything was fine with me too, the spotting continued to slowly fade away for about a week. Sooooooo happy for you!
Thank you so much for your reassuring words last night, I had read them to DH before our appointment and he was a bit more hopeful hearing about other pregnant women who had bright red blood and everything turned out ok.

That's great that you haven't bled since then!! I am hoping I can go the rest of the 1st trimester without any more bleeding! It is so hard to take it easy, between cooking, cleaning, going to work, commuting etc. I wish I could work from home for the rest of the 1st trimester!! lol

Amen to that!! Hoping my body cooperates and doesn't give me any more unnecessary drama!! You know I was already discussing going to a RE doctor with DH last night (after we had our good long cry thinking this was over). I will just put that thought out of my head and hope for the best for Friday's appointment!

Thank you all so very much for your prayers and good wishes!!!! This is why I love this board, you all can relate to a pregnant woman's panic at 4am when things don't seem to be going well and offer some hugs, reassuring words or prayers, sometimes I'm afraid to show how scared I am to DH b/c I want to be strong for both of us, so thank you all for listening to me vent and being there for me today!!!

Glad every thing is okay! I had a lot of spottingbwith this pregnancy early on too. I was such a mess!
