Baths?
might be a dumb question, but are we allowed to take baths???

No dumb questions - there are so many dos/don'ts of pregnancy it's impossible to keep track and you find yourself questioning everything!

I was just told that the water can't be more than 100-110 degrees (which is not very warm considering your body temp is 98). I was also told to limit my time and not to use bubble bath, because of the risk for a UTI.

They can't be hot. I don't remember the temp they told me but it shouldn't be hot at all

I researched and read they are fine since the water temp immediately begins to drop. I tried it once in the 2nd trimester, and just a heads up it sucked once I realized I shouldn't lie on my back. I don't have a deep soaker tub so sitting up I was too cold. Not what I was hoping for!

Oh great, i took a pretty hot bath with bubble bath...Oh well, just won't take anymore.
