Water spill
So I was carrying a bucket of water down my stairs, slipped, and the bucket spilled all over my carpet.
Hubby is working, and I rather try to get it dry before he comes home because he will worry and call me a million times, and I am stressed enough from this ordeal lol
I soaked up the water with towels and a wet vac, I also have a fan blowing on the area, anything else I can do?

Yes I am thank you! It's actually pretty comical because it's not the first time I have fallen down these stairs, I just hope it dries lol

aww, well im glad you're okay. i know i do the same clumsy thing over and over as well like stubbing my toe in the same place. anyway, also try to open windows a little if its not too cold and keep a towel over it and put something a little heavy on the towel so it absorbs the moisture and replace the towel every 30 minutes or so. also there are powder cleaning products which i think are suppossed to dry things out a little. ive never used them though and i think they are not super safe to use (but on the same level as say stove cleaner) BUT there are the non cleaning carpet powders that are just baking soda and fragrance or just use baking soda
