ewcm question..sick and meds

sorry im sure this is Tmi but i gotta ask

i was sick this month with a cold. this was our first month ttc. i havent tested at all for O but im pretty regular with my cycle and i shouldve already O...i havent had any ewcm whatsoever. i have been taking mucinex D to feel better(not the good kind for ewcm) (stopped Thursday) and now I just read that some cold meds could dry up ewcm. just because it could have dried up, is it possible i just didnt O? could i O and not see any or have any? i know a cold could also affect O... im getting confused and upset. especially b/c we have a trip planned for May (which we cant cancel) and if i do get a bfp this month, we have to wait until May so that my 1st trimester would be over.

any help would be really appreciated!

I think I read somewhere that certain cold meds can mess with the amount of mucous you have but I don't think it would stop you from O'ing. I think only bcp can do that.
