Working Out During the 2WW

So here is my concern. I am trying to get back into shape, my RE said fibroids feed on fat, but I am not putting TTC on hold while I try to get rid of the 30 lbs I put on post marriage.

I have gotten into a great routine, since November. Weight/Aerobics videos M/F, running/walking T/Th, Cardio Kickboxing video on W. I don't do it all every week but I try.

But I am scared to do anything during the 2WW. But I can't take 2 weeks off every month. When I don't work out I find it much easier to cheat and eat badly and I really am supposed to be losing.

What do you ladies think? What is ok for the 2WW?

I've been reading up on this alot and honestly you should be fine. As long as you're not working yourself into complete physical exhaustion, you should be golden.

The only thing that I've read is that once you're out of the 1st trimester, you should avoid all exercises where you're lying completely on your back and too much jumping around

I've been hesitant to work out during the 2ww as well, but I try to at least be somewhat active and just not push myself too hard.

I think it's completely fine too.

i think its completely fine, especially since you have already established this routine. most ob's would tell you even DURING pregnancy, that exercise is great - you just don't want to start a new routine. so i say keep it up.

Re: Working Out During the 2WW

Thanks everyone. I feel much better about keeping up my routine.

Obviously if I get a BFP this month I won't be skiing, but otherwise I will keep up my plans for exercise.

I kept running in the AM during the 2WW and still got a BFP - you should be fine - it's great that you have an already established routine!

Re: Working Out During the 2WW

Avoid crunches, pilates, and things like that though right?
