Anyone temp but not......

So I started temping before DH and I went to the RE. I thought that the RE was going to look at my charts but he really didn't care. It's like temping is amateur hour and he is just wants to do tests and other things. So I stopped for a while. I started again last week, but I'm not charting or recording it. Is this a mistake. Will he ask for it when we go back? Do RE's even bother with this method?

i dont temp but i am just assuming they dont look bc everything for them is done through blood and sonos

I temped when we were TTC a few years ago. I ended up seeing an RE who didn't look at my charts but did recommend that I keep temping. Since e/t for them is through blood and sonos they don't really need to see the charts. I think it's really just a good way for the patient to keep track, IMO.

dont take it personally. charts are not diagnostic- bloodwork and sonos will tell them what is really going on and if there is anything wrong. i wouldnt worry about it, but theres nothing wrong with continuting to temp if you want.

my RE wanted me to temp. He checked them once. I thought it was helpful predicting ovulation, but my most promising month, i got AF early, adn one that lookedkinda crappy- bfp..
