While I don't think jobs are specifically male/female assigned, this is how we do it!

We have a landscaper that mows and cleans up. I will trim the plants and stuff because DH would not make them look pretty and has no idea what he is doing. We also have a cleaning lady now.
Other than that when we moved into the house we made a deal... i do inside work (because he is a terrible cleaner and I would have to do it over anyway) and he does outside work (cause i hate dirt and bugs). But, we help each other with both
He generally deals with the garbage... but if the can is sitting there waiting to be brought in and I get home first, I will do it.

I do all the bedwork--weeding, planting, watering, etc.

He does the lawn/garbage/raking. We both shovel. Though this year, I get the feeling i'm doing all the shoveling bc DH is having back issues.
