different side chairs from "head" arm chairs in dining room?
i'm not sure if i explained that properly but we finally found a dining room set that we love... but i am thinking that i would like to do different chairs at the "head" of the table, where the arm chairs would typically go, as opposed to matching with the side chairs. here are pics from the set... the material i am looking at for the side chairs is sort of a beige with some chocolate brown swirls, to tie in the darker wood. i am thinking of getting 2 chairs for the ends of the table that are completely upholstered, that JUST have wood on the legs or even not at all, maybe in a chocolate brown leather or micrfiber type material. i'm not great with finding pieces from different collections that work well together. can anyone help? and if anyone did this type of set up in their dining room, i'd love to see pics! thank you!!

What brand is that from? I would start there to see if they have a matching leg. The fact that it has that cornice at the top of the leg might make it a little harder to match than most. I would first look for the same wood. What kind is it? Then I would look for a tapered leg. I am sure you can find a similar look. What is the budget for the two chairs?

They show this chair as part of the collection. I would not want the wheels on it but it would match. chair

I did. I got upholstered backs at the heads and open backs for the rest of the table.

We have leather nailhead trim armchairs for the ends.
Same brand as our dining set so the finishes match.
Thomasville actually so I know they have the leather armchairs.
You can see the chairs in the corner:

I'd do something like this:
This is from world market. They have 25% off furniture now. FURN25

1st of all, your house is amazing. can i ask what color your dining room is painted? is it a green shade? and yes, that's what i meant - how your end chairs are totally different. yours are perfect. i'm just worried about matching the legs etc because the chairs wouldn't be from the same collection.

thank you, very pretty, and that's similar to what i was picturing. when it comes to furniture, i really need to see it in person though bc i think colors of wood and fabric look different on the comp and if i'm meshing 2 different sets together, i really want to be sure.
