dining room table set without arm chairs?
I HATE arm chairs with dining tables.
Would it be odd if I bought a dining table and only get regular chairs even for the end table where you would normally put an arm chair?

I don't have any chairs with arms at my dining table. We have 4 chairs and a bench. I think traditionally, only the head chairs have arms. Get whatever you like-- there are no rules!

i think it depends on the type of chair - but i have seen a lot of set thats do not have arm chairs at the head of the table and i think it looks really nice!

instead of doing arm chairs i just got a different stlye chair for the 2 head chairs...my dining room only has room for a table so i wanted to do something to make it more interesting...my table is from ikea and is really plain so i wanted to spruce it up...
but all chairs without arms is fine...i prefer it....
