7dpo ques...1st month trying...UPDATE At Bottom
Hi girls!
This is our 1st month ttc off bc pills. I've been looking at these boards for a couple months now to get ideas and suggestions. I want to remain anonymous for now bc we haven't told anyone we're ttc and don't plan on till we're actually preg. I have a ques though and I was hoping you ladies could help me.
I have pcos. I O'd on 10/31 on my own, I know this bc I used an opk and I also went to Dr on 11/2, he took blood and it confirmed I def O'd and my progesterone level was good. We BD 6 days leading up to O day, day of, and day after. We also used preseed every time and I've been taking prenatals.
Fast forward to today, 7dpo, and I have brown discharge all day off and on. At 1st I thought I was getting AF, but realized it's too early for her. I know its too early to test. Does anyone have any ideas what could be happening? I appreciate it!

Since this is your first cycle off BC the spotting could be anything. You will never be able to predict what your body will do for a bit after BC.

I agree with Allison. You really never know what the heck your body will do. I got off the pill and actually started reading these boards for about a week and started to freak out that I wasn't doing things right and didn't know enough (everyone here is so good and knows their!). I got a slight brown discharge and it actually turned out I got pregnant the first month off of the pill and had no idea!! We just had fun and BD all the time. Lol.
You really have no idea - it could be implantation bleeding or just your cycle coming back to normal.

Yea your both right, I guess after being on the pill for so long, my body needs time to adjust. My main fear or concern was that my luteal phase is too short due to hormonal problems w/ the pcos and that's why I'm getting my period only 7 dpo...but I have no idea if this is the cause.
Its so frustrating trying to figure our bodies out!

it could just be mid cycle spotting..and if u r just coming off bc it could be your body adjusting

UPDATE: Well I woke up to a full AF this morning, which would make my luteal phase only 7 days which is way too short for an egg to implant. I'm now waiting for Dr. to call me back w/ next steps. So disappointing

when ur doc checked ur levels did he/she know u just came off bc

Thank you! Yes I've been doing some research and saw B6 will help with that. The dr was supposed to call me yest but didn't bc he had an emergency delivery so hopefully he calls me soon! I even read the Clomid or progesterone cream can help too.
