1st time trying OPK

this is going to be my 1st month trying an OPK... i bought the 1st response ones at cvs 2 months ago but i was hoping i wouldn't need them. obviously, i do. it gives you 20 sticks to pee on, plus i have one extra that came free with a pregnancy test. so i have 21...

question about my cycles: if today would have been CD33 but now it's CD1 instead - was my cycle 33 days or 32 days?
so either this month was 33 days, and last month was 32 days OR this month was 32 days and last month was 31 days... but either way, they seem like they are becoming "normal" - prior to that, i was on the pill for 14 years.

what CD should i start peeing on these sticks to see if/when i'm O'ing?

Re: 1st time trying OPK

do you have any idea when you ovulate?

i would think to start testing around cd10. But i'm new, so i'm not 100% on that.

Re: 1st time trying OPK

i have no idea when i ovulate... i was hoping the OPK could help me with that Chat Icon i've only been off the pill 2 full cycles now - i haven't really noticed any EWCM but this last cycle i did feel a little crampy, with sore boobs in the vicinity of day 17, so i'm thinking that's maybe when i O'd?Chat Icon

If AF came on what would have been CD33, then you had a 32 Day Cycle. The first day of full flow, is CD1. If you have 21 tests, then I'd start them on day 10. You'll finish around the end of your cycle so you should be covered. I ovulate late and the line tests never work for me. So, I buy the digital with the smiley face and they only come with 7. This month I did them from CD15-29 (2 packs).
