I prefer the stainless. I'm in this mode of thinking that anything besides stainless looks dated. Though I know it's only a matter of time before stainless is the new avocado. If you really don't want stainless, I'd go with black over white.

I would go with black apppliances.
I agree. but that brings you right back to the reason you're not getting SS - fingerprints.
I think any color would look nice in that beautiful kitchen

I have black appliances and they are just as bad as stainless as far as streaking and fingerprints. I would do stainless in your kitchen. Also they have a new stainless that does not show fingerprints. I think it may be more expensive though.

The kitchen is very pretty but I have to tell you I have black appliances and they are a pain in the rear to keep clean I feel like it collects dust I have to clean my stove and wipe down everything in my kitchen everyday and sometimes it get to be a real pain.
With my son touching everything and all you see if fingerprints and dust I would go with the white or SS I dont know the up keep on them

Since it seems that all the colors are fingerprint gatherers, Id go with the black, just b/c I think it looks best based on the pics you posted. I'm also not a SS fan, it seems too trendy to me. I have black in my kitchen and you definitely have fingerprints but you get use to it 
As far as the floor, the way I understand it is the floor should tie into the cabinets, cabinets into countertop, countertop into backsplash. I was going to get the backsplash that coordinated with my floor - which did look good with the counter - but the salesperson at the tile place suggested something a little different based on my granite color and I love it, not so matchy-matchy and looks great with the counter.

I would go with white or SS with a satin finish that is "finger proof resistant" I know many people who have black and it is just as bad if not worse the SS with showing every little dirt, dust, and fingerprint. I know SS is very in style but I vote for white. It looks crisp, clean, hides fingerprints and dust, and is so easy to clean. HTH

First of all, how the heck are you doing that picture thing? It's cool...
Also I think black or stainless would look best. Stainless are my favorite. It made such a difference in the look of my parents kithen when they swithed over!

Do you like the white appliances. I really want white because of little fingerprints but I am willing to change to stainless if I have to

This is almost the exact set-up of how my kitchen is going to look. Thanks for the choices as I can see what mine will look like too. I love the ss but with kids, no way. I was thinking the white but I really do like the black.
