WWYD- light bleeding again
This morning around 8AM I woke up and when I wiped there was some brownish brown on the TP. I went back to back and woke up about 1hr later and it was virtually gone. I dont have cramps and there were no cramps. I know brown blood in early pregnancy can be normal but I did have a scare last week where I bled but had an ultrasound done and confirmed everything was fine. Would you call the Dr. or just see what happens?

personally, I would call and get a sono asap because I'm a nervous nelly.

Call the doctor. I bled 2 times during the first trimester. Although they were always brown and very light my OB put me on progesterone to be preventive after the second time. Good luck to you and remember that's what your OB is there for.

Brown, I wouldn't be TOO worried, but if it makes you feel better call the Doctor. Maybe you'll get another sono out of it and be able to see

Brown=old blood, which is totally normal and absolutely nothing to worry about. That being said, I know if I were you, I'd still be nervous, given your past, and I would probably call for the peace of mind. Even if it's just to hear the doctor say- no need to come in, it's absolutely nothing to worry about.

I actually called my OB this morning about some brownish discharge I have still from the other night. She said its fine if it's brown but if it continues through the end of the week I should call for a sono. She even said it like the other ladies did. Brown blood is old blood. Should be anything but you might want to call anyway if there was nothing to trigger this. Progesterone might be needed. Good luck!

I wouldn't do anything if it was brown and you do not ahve cramping with it.
Brown is old and my Dr told me that unless it was red with cramping not to panic.

same here. i had consistent brown spotting and brown CM from weeks 7-9.

With my first pregnancy, something my Dr said kept resonating in my head - call for anything, we are here for you. If you don't call and something is wrong, they will say to you, why didn't you call. It never hurts to call.
Since you bled last week, the brown is probably residual spotting from that. The Dr will probably tell you to come in if it gets worse.
As someone who BTDT with bleeding and spotting during pregnancy and is currently going through it again - I know it's very alarming to see blood, whatever color it is.

Since you had some bleeding recently, and now we you have little bit of brown, it's probably just your body clearing out leftover, old blood.
But I would still call your doctor. They may have you come in and you might get to see the baby again.
