Is Extra stength tylenol ok for headaches?
I know that Tylenol is safe for headaches but is Extra strength also alright?

I accidentally took Extra Strength for most of my pregnancy and everything was fine. When I switched to regular strength after reading that Extra Strength wasn't "ok", it didn't do it for me. So, I switched back to ES.

Yup, extra strength is totally fine. The only Tylenol you should avoid during pregnancy are the multi-symptom ones.
ETA: It is probably best to call your doctor and ask his opinion since it appears there are many differing opinions on this!

I got pretty sick and had strep and a high temp during pregnancy and doc said to take extra strength tylenol for the temp and aches and pains.

I take it when I have a bad headache. If its not a realllly bad one, then I take 1 pill and if I need a second then I take it.

I have a huge bottle of extra strength... so I take it when I really need it... but I only take 1. 1 Extra strength pill still has less acetaminophen than 2 regular tylenol.
