possible UTI and a question

For the last day or two I have been feeling like I am getting or have a UTI (or possibly some other type of infection). I am freaking just a little bit because today when I went to the bathr0om there was a small pink drop of blood in the toilet and some light pink on the TP. It only happened once. I have an appt with my doc for tomorrow, but I as just wondering if some light spotting is normal with a UTI (or other infection).

around 10 weeks i had some spotting and the dr made me come in to see if i had a UTi, i was told that an infection could irritate that area and cause some light bleeding.

i did NOT however have a UTI. i think what happened was i had used monistat a few days before for a yeast infection and it irritated my cervix. everything in that region is so easily irritated, especially early on, that some light spotting isn't usually a concern. definitely bring it up with your dr though!

The first time I had a UTI I did get a little blood with it (wasn't pregnant at the time). It was almost like I had passed a tiny blood clot in my urine. Hopefully you'll get some answers and relief tomorrow.
