Newbie with a question

Hi ladies! I'm new to LIF and am playing the "it will happen when it's meant to be" game but truth is we are so anxious to start a family. I havn't tracked anything yet besides AF but we've decided to get more aggressive in September. Lots of luck (and prayers, if you'd like them) to everyone who is TTC!

I just wanted to ask if anyone has experienced what I've got going on right now. Basically, I came off the pill on Easter Sunday and since then have had AF twice. My cycle is now 6 or 7 days longer than when I was on the pill but otherwise everything seemed to be going pretty normally. I should have gotten AF on Sunday but nothing. Tested Monday on my lunch break and it was negative but still nothing. Has anyone experienced irregular periods a couple months after coming off the pill even though the first two seemed pretty normal? Should I test again? I just don't want to get my hopes up if this is just my body trying to regulate itself.

Any help would be appreciated!

Re: Newbie with a question

yes, i've had very crazy cycles after stopping the pill! my first 2 cycles were 39 & 37 days but then my 3rd and 4th cycles were over 60daysChat Icon . Eventually AF showed without me having to take any meds. some girls naturally have long cycles, as long as you are still ovulating then everything is ok!

for me personally, once i hit over 60 days i went to my ob/gyn to be on the safe side.

good luck!
