Another dumb question from the newbie - how soon can you tell?
I'm pretty sure nothing happened this month but there is a small chance - I'm supposed to go to the dentist on 12DPO. I'm sure they will want to do x-rays. If I got a BFN that day would that be almost 100% definite?

No... Some people don't get a BFP until AF is due or after.
Can you hold off on the xrays until you're sure?

I was naughty last month and had an MRI done while I was 10DPO. I tested that morning with a First Response and got a BFN. I went ahead and did the MRI after telling the tech that I was 10DPO with a BFN.
I am not saying go ahead and do the X rays but please at least let the tech know.
