wish me luck, having a mammogram Monday- update!
I've had some pain in my left boob off & on for months and I ignored it....but the past two weeks it's been pretty persistent....finally went to my ob/gyn this morning and she's sending me for a mammogram on Monday just to be safe. I haven't told anyone IRL so it helps to share it here..... I think I'm mostly afraid of my boobs being squashed, results are an after thought almost lol.....I'm actually surprised how calm I am, I usually freak out for any testing done on me!! appreciate any good vibes you can send my way that everything is ok, thanks!
update: thank you everyone for your prayers! they must've worked, everything came back normal!!!  so that's definitely good news but it doesn't explain the boob pain! The doctor mentioned a lot of women experience tenderness and they usually chalk it up to hormones....my ob/gyn said she'd refer me to a breast specialist if I continue having this pain and it doesn't seem to be cycle related (which it doesn't considering how long I've experienced it). thanks again everyone!! it's always scary going for new tests, and that mammogram machine was definitely no joke!! lol

thanks ladies! Luckily, my doctor said this place gives results the same day.....so at least I won't be stuck in suspense very long!
