when we do IUIs, the doc turkey bastes me, then tilts the table so im laying down with my legs slightly higher. then he tells me to lay there for 4 songs 
the whole thing is so romantic

This is what my Dr. told me to do...put a pillow underneath for five minutes and then roll over on your stomach for another five min. After 10 failed cycles, I tried this and immediately got my bfp! Don't know if it was coincidence or not but it worked! I also have a retroverted uterus which is why he told me to do this.
Wow, there are a lot of stories here that are leading me to think this is the way to go. Do you know why the Dr. said to roll on your stomach though?
He said this seems to work if you have a tilted uterus...that way the sperm coats the uterus and has a better chance. (Something like that-lol)
