HI I'm new to this board!

Hi girls-

I'm new to this board, DH and I are planning to start TTC this month.

I have a quick question, I think I maybe be the only one waiting for AF

I took my last BCP in June. Normally I would get AF on wednesday after I took my last pill, but of course since I wanted this to be normal, I started spotting on Monday.

So now I am either on CD 32 if I count from Sunday, or CD 30 if I count from when AF would normally have started on Wednesday.

How long is it normal to go before AF after stopping the pill? Also if I dont get it soon, how long should I wait before calling my doctor?

(PS- I am NOT pg, DH has been away all month for a training)

Welcome! I don't think there is any "normal" waiting time. Everyone reacts differently to stopping the pill. Good luck!

Hi Jackie, I'm new to ttc this week myself - welcome aboard

What I've come to find is that there is no normal when coming off of BC. My Dr. told me to wait a few months to get an idea of what a regular cycle is like without the pill and then go from there.

A friend of mine went off of her BCP in January, and was pregnant by the end of the month! They say you're very fertile after coming off of it! Hopefully the same will happen to you!
