just wondering if I'm alone (TTC and OBGYN related)
I didn't see an OBGYN before we started TTC this week!
My last visit was about 7 months ago, everything was normal, the dr did an ultrasound (they do it on every visit) they even did blood tests to check my hormones and everything was fine. So I figured I'll go if and when I get pregnant, or if I don't. I did start taking Folic acid on top of my Centrum daily multivitamins. I'm thinking I should buy some OTC prenatal vitamins .
Anyone else not see the OBGYN?
If you did see one what did they tell you to do while TTC?

My last. gyno visit was last August. We just started TTC this month. Depending on whether or not I get insurance (went from FT to PT - not by choice) I will go next month.
I think if your periods are relatively regular you don't have to get a checkup before TTC. I could be wrong though, let's see what everyone else has to say!
Good idea to take prenatals also BTW

My obgyn strongly advises taking an otc prenatal prior to TTC.

my last OB appt was about 7 months before I got my BFP. I was not taking prenatals either, but we were only trying for a month before I got my bfp

I haven't been to the GYN in almost 8 months. I have a regular visit scheduled for the end of August. We just started "trying without Trying " this month.

I didn't see an OBGYN while TTCing, but I did take an OTC prenatal. After getting PG, I switched OBGYNs and he gave me a Pap.

I haven't seen mine since February but I'm definitely going just to make sure everything is okay and also because I'm looking for a new dr. too. I haven't started taking any prenatals but I'm definitely going to start next week now that AF is gone.

I just went about 1.5 months ago and she said that taking pre-natals was fine, take them just to have the vitamins too..

nope, I haven't been to my dr in a year (just got health ins as of aug 1st)
I've just been taking prenatals
