What are some crazy beauty treatments you have done that were a big FAIL?
I wouldn't know where to begin....but when I was younger, I would put straight peroxide on my hair.... I shaved my eyebrows a bit once...I trimmed my bottom eye lashes a little because they were soooo long...I used White Out on my nails...oh, and I once pierced my fingernail -- anyone remember that fad in the 90s that lasted a day?  I'm sure there are plenty others.
What about you all?

I did the whole piercing of the nails as well! I also did white out and permanent marker. My friends and I also use to use those biore strips that use to help with something across the bridge of your nose. But all they did was hurt like HECK!!! I was also a fan of sun in.

Why should they? Moms are now taking their 8 year olds to the salon for cut, color and the best highlights!!
Sun in was girls like me, I wasn't allowed to dye my hair and my uncle gave me haircuts b/c he is a barber!

Biore really works if you have blackheads. I make my DH do them periodically and a TON of stuff comes out!
The only thing I did were those home perms. And they made me look a little poodle-like.

Baby oil in my hair to straighten out
Used an ACTUAL Iron to straighten my hair
Threaded my face (never again so painful)
Waxed my nose (now I have hair on it)
Used Gel (level 10) to get that hard wet curly look
Used Jolen Bleach to bleach my bangs  (going for that grunge/punk look)

Sun-in and Kool-aid dyed hair
dying my hair crazy colors as a teen (red, purple-black)
Brown lipliner and lipstick
in middle school, wrapping an ace bandage around my pony tail at night, so I woke up with straight hair.

I tried to pierce my own ears once b/c my mom wouldn't let me get more than one hole in each ear... i tried to pierce the top cartilege part 
And i'm sure i'll think of more...

At home highlighting. I thought patches of my hair had fallen out, but it had just gotten so light you could barely see it. Had to get the color corrected obviously.
ETA: I liked the white out on the nails too, and I was a Sun in Junkie, oh and pouring beer on my wet hair and having it dry in the sun. That actually did give me nice highlights, but dried it out.

Attempted to have layers put in my hair but they gave me a mullet instead...
I used hair remover for the face on my eyebrows and accidently removed the hair from the middle of my eyebrow.
Attempted to cut my bangs and ended up looking like a boy just before my college graduation
I wore silver and black lipstick.
Body Glitter ALL OVER!

using baby oil at the beach
sun in + hairdryer = disaster
dying my hair dark brown
drawing a beauty mark on my face to be like cindy crawford 
not waxing my eyebrows until college- they were sooooo bushy
then, becoming psycho about them being bushy, and butchering my eyebrows to be too thin (didnt work on my face)
brick colored lipstick with dark liner

Ooffffffffa, I pierced all my own holes except for my first ones, that my mom did when i was 5 mos...lol
then I did ALL of the ones above. And I also tried to pierce my:
Nose
Eyebrow
Septum
(i'm slowly realizing i'm not weird about needles for a reason, lol)
I also did the Kool-Aid hair. Bleh!

*Tried straight bleach in my hair, but it did nothing.
*I used to frequently use baby oil at the beach. It worked then, but I'm regretting it now.
*Pierced my own ears - 3 additional holes on each ear (on top of the 2 pairs I already had.) My father surprisingly handled it well.
*I've dyed my hair every color under the sun.
*tried various home made beauty masks: honey, cucumber & milk, egg...none of which worked.
*went "porn star" blonde. The best is that there are photos of me with this hair color and my DD insists it's not me.

I did the piercing nail thing in HS. Totally forgot about that until I read this post.
I did the at-home egg white facials.
and...
Crisco. While lying in the sun in FL.
The sun damage from working in a tanning salon for 6 months...ugh. The expression your skin is like an elephant, it never forgets has never been more fitting.
