Many people on LI are moving out of state... I could never do that bc I'd miss my family & friends way too much!!! My question for today is: if "missing family/friends" was not a factor & you were willing to move put of state, where would you like to move to & why?

I'd live to move to North Carolina... Obviously u can get a bigger/better house down there as compared to here on LI. The weather is nice but I feel like it wouldn't be quite as hot/humid as FL. I think the "scenery," etc is nicer. Pics I've seen of communities there look gorgeous! Def way nicer and way cheaper than stinky LI!!!!!!!

I would move to New Hampshire or Vermont. Love the peace and the mountains and the foliage. As I get older I might not like the winters so much though...

I'd love to move to North Carolina, or Virgina. Someplace where it's warm so we'll be able to spend alot of time outdoors, but where I don't have to shovel snow every week for over a month like I did this year

I would love to move off the Island but my husband would never leave his family. I would love to move to either North Carolina or South Carolina, I love the warm weather and the beach!

Me and DH went to San Diego and fell in love!!!
We both loved the laid back atmosphere and overall beauty of the city.
I would move at the drop of a hat but darn ol' DH is such a momma's boy he would never ever leave her.

North Carolina because you can get some gorgeous houses at a fraction of the price of homes here on LI but I'd lean more towards Florida because DH's family is down there and at least we'd know people

I wish I was adventurous enough to move far away. I loved San Fran and San Diego, but it is just too far away from my family and friends. Even with where we live now, we are a little too far away.
