Please help me decorate the the nursery
Here is our bedding. We will be using the valance and all accessories except the flags on the wall & shelf with picture or whatever that is.
This is our paint color (it is the orange color--I googled a room painted in the color to get a real idea of how it looks)
This is the carpet color 
Questions: What type of decal (or painting/mural) would you do, if any?
What type of border would you do, if any? A solid yellow wallpaper border around the room for example? Any other suggestions?

Your bedding and valance is VERY busy. Keep the walls plain. Add a couple of wallart or wall letters and that's it! I feel even a border would be too much!

Thanks, I know it is ver busy. I like busy and bright but of course not headache inducing which is why I am asking. I have a tendency to go overboard

The main concern I have is that your rug is blue and if your walls are orange, it's going to look very METS themed. JMO
I would personally stay away from the orange walls due to the blue rug (or is that not blue)?

It is much more grey in person, I just took a sample image from the internet. Also the paint in person looks more creamsicle/sherbert orange than bright orange if that makes sense.
We are Mets fans though so if it has that sort of look (but more muted lol bc those colors are a little much even for me ) it's cool.

Ok,great, I see you are having a boy AND you like the METS, so at least Mets makes sense if that is a vibe it gives off when you are done painting!

i would keep it simple and not do a mural, just some hangings.
i love orange rooms. our office is orange and it's just such a great color (probably similar to the one you chose) - we get so many compliments and so many "i would NEVER paint a room that color but it looks awesome" type comments. you will love it!!

Blue and orange is my favorite color combo, this was the theme of our wedding and will be the theme of my MD shower. We are not Mets fans, and DH is only a slight Knick's fan. They are our college alma mater colors as well. I think they are complementary colors that look great together.
I agree maybe some framed pics and white or blue name letters that's it on the walls. No border.

Yeah I know the orange is a little bold, but we like bright colors and figured what the heck, thanks for the input
