Is 1 pm too early to take an OPK?
Sorry for TMI, but I haven't peed in hours and can't hold it until 2 pm, when I would normally test.
Think I should test at 1 or just "reset" and try to test later in the day?

I test every morning w/FMU. It has been working like a gem for me that way.

Now I am so confused, because I have read on several sites that you're not supposed to use FMU because the LH surge starts early in the morning (so you'll get highest levels late morning or afternoon).
I've also read that you shouldn't drink too much for a couple of hours before so your urine is concentrated. Blah. I'm just going to test and stop torturing myself.

You're absolutely right and no, 1pm isn't too early, but if it's negative and you think you are close, test again at 4pm just so you don't miss it.

I think its chalked up to every one & every one's body is different. I went 2 months May & June where my was not detectable (I was post MC). I would figure out what works best for you and do that. The great thing is you can test multiple times a day.
Good Luck.

I would definitely test (if you didn't already), I don't think an hour difference is a big deal at all. Like others said, if it's negative and you're worried you can test again later.
I hated testing in the afternoon so I've been using the digitals and test with FMU. I haven't had any issues with not getting a this way. It's just much easier for me.

I also have been testing with fmu (digital test), and it has worked for the first two months i tried it..I'm now on month three and am pretty sure i missed my surge this month, so now i'm thinking i should switch to testing in late afternoon...
