Peeing in a cup
Anyone else tired of peeing in a cup? LOL! I keep praying I don't spill it by mistake on the way to bring it to the nurse.

Just got back from the OB and was thinking this as a nurse flew by me i was so glad it didn't spill. That would be embarrassing. Ha ha!

Re: Peeing in a cup
My OBs office has a little tray by the sink to leave the cups in. Thank god I don't have to walk around the office with it!

Re: Peeing in a cup
change of subject but I just thought it was funny how when you scroll down & see similar posts, it mentions sippy cups But I know what you mean, I'm always afraid I'm going to knock it over when I put it down to wipe or wash my hands

My office not only has a top, but you put it in a plastic bag as well!

Re: Peeing in a cup
its getting harder and harder to get it in the cup at all as I get bigger and bigger! as for spilling it, my office has a little door behind the toilet where you place your cup on a shelf. the nurse then opens the door from the other side and gets it! so I am not worried about carrying it around! easy peasy!

Re: Peeing in a cup
YES!!
My ob also has cups with lids to but I find that I have to pee ALL the way to the dr and once I get to the office I CANNOT go
Hopefully today when I go I do not have that problem again.

Or do you mean "Easy Pee-sy!"
Just to add my opinion... I HATE peeing in the cup! I think I use about 18 paper towels to place the cup on the ledge (providing there IS one!), wipe it off, wash my hands, transport it to the nurse, etc.

Mine too. If it didn't I would be taking baby steps not to spill.

Re: Peeing in a cup
Erica, I'm so glad someone is bringing this topic up!!! It was probably a guy who invented this method of female urine collection!!!! I think someone needs to invent something new, for all us gals, who are pregnant, or just have to give a sample for a UTI or otherwise!!!!! Mary

LOL! My Ob's office has the screw top cup and then ziplock bags to put it in... but it's getting harder to actually aim in the cup!

Re: Peeing in a cup
The office I go to has a little door you open and put it into. They take it out the other side so you never have to leave the bathroom with it. I love it! I couldnt imagine having to walk around with it!
