Peeing in that little cup!!
Am I the only one that thinks they do this to test our skills..lol. I mean come on my stomach is in the way and I cant see my Hoo haa!! Yesterday at the dr"s it was like mission impossible and to top it off I couldnt see how much I was going so i over filled the cup..what a mess..Give me a damn bucket!!! ha ha! Sorry if TMI but those little tiny cups crack me up!!

I swear I was just thinking this the other day at my appt. I couldnt even see so I had to just guess - and thank god I didnt pee on myself

This is when I get my Kegel exercises. I let out a little in the toilet to get the positioning right then shove the cup under there!

My nurse gives me the cup and lets me bring in the sample. She said it's easier for me and they would rather have FMU. The only problem is getting it there!! I am not keeping that thing in my bag!

I KNOW!!! I was JUST thinking that yesterday!! I had no problem with my aim earlier on in the pregnancy, but at 38 and a half weeks, I have no hope of getting it all in. I just accept the fact that I will pee all over my hand and I move that little thing all around until some lands in the cup!!

Question though...
Do you hand your cup of pee to the nurse or leave it on the counter?
I leave it on the counter and DH thinks I am rude!...I JUST washed my hands! I dont want to touch it again!

There is a sign in my doctor's office that says "Please cover specimen cup with a tissue and give to medical assistant" so that's exactly what I do lol. I wipe off the cup if anything got on the outside, then wash my hands, then cover it with the tissue and hand it to the assistant, so I don't have to touch it again.

That would work if they had paper towels!!..i guess I could take toilet paper!

I do the same thing. The nurse always tells me to bring it right back so they can test it right away.
