Sleeping on my stomach...
When should I stop? I am 13 weeks and I always sleep on my belly. Is this bad? Should I stop now? I know I can if I have to. When did you stop?

Re: Sleeping on my stomach...
I wake up on my belly all the time, and I never slept on it before. I agree with above poster

Re: Sleeping on my stomach...
I read that its more concerning to sleep on your back than stomach when pregnant, but that its just not going to be comfortable eventually on your stomach. From what I read the best sleep position is on your left side. I am already uncomfortable on my tummy and LOVE and always have slept on my stomach - I am only 9.5 weeks .. not sure why so uncomfortable. I have been sleeping with a lot more pillows lately which usually I don't need ... I read a pillow between the knees makes side sleeping more comfortable I tried it last night it worked and I want to get a body pillow too.
good luck and double check with doc, but as long as comfortable I think okay

Re: Sleeping on my stomach...
do it as long as possible because when you are 37 weeks like I am and have what feels like a bowling ball in your stomach, you wont be able to anymore! I miss sleeping on my stomach!!! I think I was able to until about 20 or so weeks.

Yup. I miss this so much. I think it started to hurt around 14 weeks, but I also have twins

I'm 36 weeks and still end up on my stomach at night. I put one leg up and try to angle myself a bit, but I'm still on my stomach. I just can't sleep well in any other position.

same here. I do get nervous and wait for her to kick when I wake up, but my doctor made me feel better when he said sleeping on my stomach won't harm her.

Yeah, I'm having twins too and I think I stopped around the same time as you. I bought the snoogle which made sleeping much easier for awhile.. but now at 33 weeks sleeping at all is almost impossible
