I'm back!! Expecting #2
I took the test today tada... I'm expecting #2. From my last period my EDD is 3/4/12.
my first (of many many questions) is how different are 2nd pregnancies with the 1st???

Congrats!! So far (I am only 7.5w) everything has been exactly the same. I have all day sickness which started at 6w on the dot (with DS too) and have been extremely exhausted (maybe even more this time around since I am chasing DS everywhere).

Ahh I've been waiting for your update on the parenting board! You kept us in suspense!!  Congrats- so happy for you!!  
I'm 18 weeks and so far, my symptoms have been basically the same but to a lesser degree (and my first one was really easy!). I have been getting headaches in the past few weeks, which I didn't have the first time around, but nothing crazy. Other than that, I started showing MUCH earlier this time- I was in maternity clothes by about 9 weeks. But as I'm sure you know, every pregnancy is unique even within the same woman!

For me, 2nd pg was exactly the same as the 1st. All day sickness starting early on.
I felt movement much earlier this time, likely because I knew what to look out for. AND I was in maternity faster with #2. I was wearing maternity pants at 10wks this time! I didn't until 19/20wks with DS1.

Okay- For me... my 2nd pregnancy has been harder. I doubt thats what you wanted to hear, but it did get better in the 2nd tri. Im just at a point now where Im just so done being uncomfortable. I feel like I have been pregnant forever. Every pregnancy is different- not sure if it becuause Im having a girl this time around either.

I'm obviously only 4 weeks.
with #1 I started peeing more from the moment we conceived. That is why DH suspected I was preggers in the first place. I felt great until week 6 when the morning sickness kicked in and lasted til week 16!
now with #2. I started to have nausea and dry heaves all last week which was the signal again to DH that I was preggers. lol. I'm not peeing anymore than usual, but I'm riding a weird cycle of starving and nauseous all day long! lmao.

Congratulations! This is #2 for me and this has been by far a much easier pregnancy. With  I was so sick and felt like crap the entire pregnancy. With this pregnancy  I feel amazing. I had a little nausea here and there the first trimester and I was exhausted until 12 weeks but other than that I feel wonderful. I also felt at 15w6d whereas with it was around 18/19 weeks.

Congrats! I saw your post on Parenting and was curious about an update!
Anway I hate to tell you this but I am finding #2 to be much worse than #1. The MS was worse, the heartburn, the round ligament pain. I am carrying a lot lower than with #1 so by the end of the day I feel like this baby is going to fall out. Good news is you have another one to care for so that helps to distract you from how horrible you are feeling .
I agree with pp I was showing mush sooner and in maternity clothes much earlier. On the plus side I am more relaxed with everything bc I already know what to expect.

Congrats!
Not sure what you mean, do you mean how is pregnancy different? If that is your question, I got morning sickness with this one, not DS. I started showing at like 5 weeks, no kidding. That's why I tested! I'm now 20 weeks and started feeling like I'm lactating already. I'm much more tired. I got gestational diabetes with this one. The list goes on.

this pregnancy has been slightly different- but I'm not sure if I was more in tune with my symptoms last time b/c it was my first and I didn't have a toddler and a hyperactive dog to worry about
