mantle for fireplace
This may be a stupid question, but where would you go to buy a new one? I absolutely hate the one we have now, and even if we painted it, i'd still hate it. I really want a white one. Any suggestions?? TIA!

My DH and FIL built our mantle and then painted it white. What made them decide to build one is that the company we got our granite from mislead us and wanted to charge us a lot of $$ for a granite mantle to match our counter tops!

I actually have a white one we had gotten for a 24" gas fp. It's a corner mantle though...fm me if your interested, we decided to not use it.

I am getting a gas fireplace installed. We are either going to have the contractor build it or order it from the fireplace store.
