Show your fireplace mantle...
Looking for ideas of what to hang above fireplace besides a TV, if anyone has pictures please post

I have one but we are not in the house yet, I am thinking of keeping it basic because our mantel is special and beautiful alone. We hate the fireplace exterior though and will be changing hopefully next year!
We probably put my big mirror or a painting above (thinking more mirror for light) offset that with a earthen vase my dad made in the 70's & some decorative bell jars with fake floral arrangements (3 medium, small & tiny.) We are painting a very light blue/graish color in the room after the panel is removed.
Ignore the stupid glove balloon someone put up there.

We don't have anything hanging on the wall... we have a dew frames and such to add height, and will be hanging a quilt next to the fireplace to give it the look of some height as well.
