QOTD 6/24/11

What a dreary, yukky morning!! I'm starting off the morning in such an irritable mood. Not sure why, but I guess its my cycles being off. Which leads me to my question

How has TTC affected your relationship with DH? Has it brought you closer together or do you feel more stressed out and emotional now?

At first TTC was fun for us, but now it's feeling like it's definitely lost something. Also, today I'm feeling especially irritable. I get these days in my cycle now that I'm off BCP where I just can't explain the feeling, but I could just break down and cry over the stupidest things. Right now I'm texting DH so mad at him because he forgot to pack my margarine for me for the bagel party I'm having for my students this morning. I don't eat butter so I was bringing a little for me and he forgot to put it in my bag. It's so stupid, but I'm so upset and emotional today.
TTC has definitely not been what I thought it would be for us. I'm so obsessive over things and I really just don't know how to relax. I just thought it would bring us closer together and I guess I'm surprised that it's not that way at all.

I feel like you do. At first, we were all excited to TTC. It was like "WooHoo- got my smiley. Let's go!" Now it is, "OK when do we have to do baby makin?" It is scheduled. But, we don't let it eat at us. It is just one part of this journey that we will get through. If I am not pg this month, we have an RE appt for July, so that will bring upon a new stress.

we had our ups and downs.. without going into details.. but overall, it brought us closer..

This is just our 3 cycle TTCing so right now it is good but, gets alittle stressful when we are both tired to and know we have to.

This month its ok the last 2 he almost called baby making quits. I am ocd and was making myself really upset over every little thing. And one this dh can't stand is seeing me upset.

we have been through so much over almost 16 months..i dont think i would have gotten through any of it without him

he is my rock..the shoulder i have cried so many times on..the one who is trying to be strong bc i am falling apart

as much as i have hated all of ttc..it def has brought us closer
