Talk To Me About Baltimore
My DH is taking a week of in August and I want to go somewhere different with him and the kids.
We have done: Mystic Lancaster Boston Cape Cod
Was thinking of going to Baltimore, hitting the aquarium, maybe a ball game.
What else is there?

We went last summer to take DS to visit Loyola. DH and the DS went to the aquarium and had a great time. We went to Bo Brook's for crabs as well.

Re: Talk To Me About Baltimore
Love, love, love Baltimore. You have to walk around the Inner Harbor and ride the paddleboats.
Some of the things we're thinking of hitting up next time in addition to the aquarium & inner harbor: Babe Ruth's birthplace museum, B&O Railroad museum, Edgar Allen Poe museum, Fort McHenry, Maryland Science Center, Maryland Zoo, Port Discovery Children's Museum.
If you like horse racing the Preakness is run at Pimlico in Baltimore.
Anapolis is a quick drive away, the US Naval Academy is there, it's beautiful.

2 of my cousins went to Loyola and LOVED it. One of them also got her master's there.

Thank You so much!! (Thank you all so much for the quick replies)! DS would LOVE the museums! He LOVES the one right here on LI! (Nassau County) LOL
My dad would be proud if I visited the Naval Academy!

Re: Talk To Me About Baltimore
I went to school outside of Baltimore and I think it's good for 2 days MAX. Like people mentioned, the Inner Harbor is a good place to start - there's the children's museum which is alot of fun, the paddle boats, walking around Fells Point, the aquarium, science center and there is a carousel now near the science center. The zoo is not in the Inner Harbor but close too.
