I was "anti" feather extensions b/c I seriously thought they would be like those big bulky ones that someone posted above.  BUT my hair salon started doing them and was posting pics on FB and I really, really love them! I'm going to get my hair cut and colored tomorrow and am seriously considering trying it out. I'm not into the pinks or purples or anything like that, probably the brown or blonde ones would do.
I just hope I don't look silly. I'm 29 but I really feel like it would totally suit my style as far as hair cut, piercings, tattoos ect. especially since I'm very modest with my clothing style. KWIM?
Am I really reaching on this one? 
Tell me if I'm delusional. I can handle it...I think

i think that they are really fun but I work in a pretty corporate environment and I dont think it would go over too well with the people I work for.

I went to the mall with my Niece (SHe's 3) and She wanted the pink so I wanted one too but I felt too old so I have Blonde hair so I bought the blonde and black natural feather and EVERYONE loves itImage Attachment(s):

I know that you can wash and style as you normally would but since I have short hair, will they cut it or will it have to be long?

I just got the clip in ones on eBay...6 color combos
I was inspired after my week out east.
They have the feathers and crimps there as well. I love the ones that look like hilites.

I love them and would totally do it. I am pretty youthful though and tend to wear young styles. I have a long feather earring that I wear and get a lot of compliments on.
I take chances with things like that though..... You only live once. I'm not afraid of trends!

I am def getting them at my next hair appointment...they look so good on everyone I have seen, and I see people of all ages with them...in fact I think I have seen more women in their 30s to 40s with them than the young girls...

I did it!
I got 4 of the thin strands. One being that zebra looking one. Only its yellow and black since I have blond highlights. It looks so cute!
While I was at the salon, there were 4 other people getting them. One was even my Mom's age!
