QOTD 6/15/11

If you could live anywhere and have a different life, where would it be?


Sometimes I think it would be nice to live in a quaint (sp?) little town where everyone knows you, with a Main Street and town picnics. I always think of the movie Baby Boom, where the high strung advertising executive inherits a baby and she moves to Vermont and makes baby food. Having spent all my life in NY and working in NYC (that part I will give up in a heartbeat) and all my friends and family being here, I could never leave. But I would like a simpler, quiet life sometimes

This is a great question! Ive been thinking about how I love New York and the hustle and the bustle. I also love my job but the long hours and stress of working in finance in NY takes its toll. I would like ot experience a different type of lifestyle in a more suburban area where things are much calmer, there is less traffic and toxic things around ... It might be nice for a change though I think I might get sick of it quickly.

I always told DH that if I didnt care about living away from my family and NY I would either move to a small football town or to Paris.

OMG I love the movie Baby Boom! It's so cute!

If I had to pick a small town like you're describing...I'd live in Stars Hollow from Gilmore Girls.


But if I could live anywhere? Damn, it's between Europe and Figi, I think.
