Re: Liqour at a baby shower

I have never been a shower, let alone a baby shower that had hard liquor. Always champagne punch or something along those lines.

Baby showers are usually a late morning early afternoon start times, I know it's 5pm somewhere in world, but people can go without the hard stuff for a couple hours. I can't imagine myself drinking my JD on a sunday afternoon at 1pm at a baby shower.

If they want hard liquor the bar can help them outChat Icon

I think you should keep it without the liquor. People dont try to get loaded at a baby shower...just too weird! Champagne punch is common IMO.

I don't think I've ever been to a baby shower with any liquor other than some champagne in the spiked punch!

I prefer vodka on hand. I like cranberry and vodka so much more then champagne punch or wine. I don't know if she would need a full bar, just vodka for bloody marys and screw drivers.

Since showers are usually during the day, the only thing I've ever heard of is champagne punch or maybe a glass of wine.

In my opinion, it's just not a drinking affair.

Re: Liqour at a baby shower

They had a luncheon for mine and they served red and white wine. I wouldn't expect hard liquore during the day.

ETA: It would not have bothered me if they did have it though.
