So DH has been saying to me how much he wants TWINS!!!
With that ,what would you do if you had twins?
How much do u think life with change with 2 babies instead of 1?
Would you go back to work?
How would you be able to do it financially?

Ha, DH says the same thing! He keeps saying how badly he wants twins. Im like dude, lets deal with one for now haha. Honestly, if I had twins that would be AWESOME it would be extremely hard (in all aspects) but it wouldnt really even matter....I probably would still return to work at some point. But will prob. take a bit of time off in the beginning.

I have to say I would be blessed to have twins. DH wants 1 of each and I think he is saying and feeling this because he knows this is a one time deal with us having a baby. Im older and my body has a changed big time since I had my son. Im worried as it is now to carry one baby, I have arthritis in my spine, plus a neck and shoulder problem.
I told him if we had twins not only would I NOT be going back to work but, he would have to go and get another FT job. He jokes and says we will make them famous, UMM I have to have 10 at once to make them famous.
This all scares me of course, Im a big thinker but, twins do run in my family but, skips my generation.
But as far as money goes I dont think we would ever be able to get a house because we would have to pay for their college and everything else at the sametime, atleast my son will definately be one his own by then... I hope

2 for the price of 1 but, I'll be grateful with 1

twins run inm y fam..i have twins sisters 3 sets of cousin who r twins and one triplet

and also being on fertlity meds ups the chances..

so i can say we would be thrilled with twins!!!!!!! beyond thrilled!

i am trying everything for 1..2 would be heaven sent

Ah this question hits close to home. 3 psychics have told my mom that twins are on the way for me. Then I heard the same thing twice. I've been preparing myself for it so at this point I'd be surprised to have just one. I worry about going back to work. My plan had always been some sort of daycare but times that by two and I'm working just to send my babies there. At this point I'll deal with it when the time comes, but DH and I would feel very blessed to have 2 healthy babies at the same time.
Also I swear I Oed on both sides this month

The idea is overwhelming but exciting at the same time. No matter what we'd find a way to make it work. We also have very supportive parents who would help us out if we needed.

Twins run in my family. I would love to have twins. If my first pg was a twin pg, then I would not be here on the TTC board. I think I would have stopped. If twins come out of this pg (and for some reason I am thinking that is going to happen) we would think I am done working f/t and live would really change- but all for the better.

DH has always said he wants twins. I can't imagine having 2 babies inside of me...and then the amount of work to raise 2 newborns. But, twins don't run in either of our families so I didn't think it was an issue.

However, I found out recently I'm going to have to go onto Clomid (or maybe have more radical infertility treatments) so the chances of multiples now is much higher for us.

I will be happy no matter what...I just want a happy, healthy baby (or 2!).

I would prefer not to have twins... I feel like everyone loves those first few years with their babies and I know I would too... I would be sad to not get to do it again and not get to do it individually with each.I can't imagine paying for daycare for 2 at the same time, always having one crying, double the cost for everything.... it scares the crap out of me!
With that said, i am sure if I was blessed with 2 babies I would see it completely differently and embrace it!
