Cucumbers...how to get DS to eat them?
Waldbaums suckered me into buying cute kirby sized english cucumbers.
I thought they would be cute and DS would try them.
Any ideas on how to jazz them up a bit?

My kids like them sliced into spears and brined in a little salt, vinegar and pickling spice. They also like them sliced with tzatziki sauce and sometimes just with a little salt sprinkled. Sweet pickle salad is a favorite too - disks tossed with a dressing of simple sugar syrup, vinegar, pepper and lemon.

mmm! Little cocktail rye bread from the store make a spread with a little mayo and cream cheese and chop in some fresh dill. My mom used to chop the cucumbers into the spread and put them on the sandwiches.. but I like thin slices of cucumber instead. Delicious!

I cut them up in the summer with rice vinegar, dill and craisins.

I love cucumbers on a turkey sandwich with a little bit of ranch dressing!
I would try other dips too like spinach dip, hummus, or a little italian dressing. They're also good in a cold pasta or quinoa salad.

This might work b/c he likes "red raisins" - He doesn't like cranberries... whatever as long as he's eating something healthy, I don't care what he calls them.

my boys LOVE cucumbers dipped in ranch dressing...they love peppers dipped in ranch as well...it's one of their favorite snacks (mine too!)
