The pill...
kept my skin clear for 10 years and after being off for 6 months the breakouts are back in full force. A big monster smack dab in the center of my forehead and now one appearing on the tip of my nose! Seriously?!?!
I thought I was safe after the first few months when I first went off and my skin stayed clear but I guess the hormones have all kicked back in.

It gets easier. When I went off the pill 7mths or so ago I broke out like crazy. I was so tempted to go back on the pill  I have to say, after a few months everything cleared up. Hope it does for you too

Yup! It definitely takes a little while :( I think it was a good 6 months before mine was normal again. Even now, my skin's still not as clear as it was when I was on the pill. I miss it!

My skin got bad after I got off the pill as well and I went on antibiotics for a month just to clean up and my skin has been better since. Try speaking to your dermatologist.

I just went off the pill in February and I'm also starting to see minor breakouts...if I wasn't so heart set on TTC, I'd go back on the pill in a heartbeat.

OMG i am having the same problem!! it thought i was okay when the first 2 months my skin was okay now...6 months later i am breaking out soooo much! uuugh i hate it

Yep, this is me. The first few months it was fine and I attributed it to my skin changing and being older now then bam! I hate it!!!

Ughhh...I just came off the pill and don't even want to think about it!!
I never had acne as a teenager but after college developed it as an adult. BCP didn't help all that much but now thinking about it....I hope it doesn't get even worse now that I'm off!

I also got off of birth control at the beg. of the year and now my face is just atrocious. pimples and redness... it is def. making me want to go back on birth control. I just try to keep it clean and try to treat the zits right when i see them but they are persistant and crazy!! I just want to get pregnant already so I can go back on the pill.

my skin has been horrible since being off the pill as well... i've been breaking out on my back too and with summer basically here i don't even wanna think about it  is there any treatments/soaps etc that have helped you ladies?

With my last pregnancy, my skin broke out a lot-- or rather before I was pregnant I had bad skin cause job was very stressful, etc. Once I got pregnant-- I checked with my derm as to what was safe to use... There are some topical things that are safe for TTC and pregnancy. Definitely go to a dermatologist though as opposed to using things OTC.
