Anyone have a great pasta salad receipe?
We are having a bbq for DD's birthday and I wanted to make a pasta salad on the side. Can anyone share a great receipe?

I like to use bowtie or rotini pasta, fresh mozzarella balls, grape tomatoes, olive oil, balsalmic vinegar, salt and pepper.

I like to use tri-color rotini, when the pasta has like 3 minute left I throw in broccoli florets, cool everything and use italian dresssing, red, onion grated parm cheese, mozzarella... then i added other things from the following list depending on my mood!!!!
cute to bite size:
marinated artichoke heards
roasted peppers
sundried tomatoes
cucumbers
asapargus (who cute up and do like the broccoli)

For a BBQ, my favorite pasta salad, is either elbow or rotini pasta and then I toss that with cut up vegetables (celery, broccoli, black olives, green olives, carrots, cucumbers, green peppers, red peppers, etc.) and mix it with newman's own original oil and vinegar salad dressing and black pepper.

Mine is simple but delicious!
rotini pasta
raw string beans
cherry tomatoes
sharp cheddar cut in cubes
monterey jack cut in cubes
Wishbone italian dressing (this makes it, the wishbone regular italian is the best!)
I make it for all work parties, holidays, etc.

My BIL makes pasta salad that I love...
Simply - roasted veggies (eggplant, peppers, onions etc).... mixes with cheese ravioli and usually a balsamic vinagrette (or Italian dressing).
I love it with the ravioli!!

If you can pick up a copy of the food network magazine that came out this month they have a whole section on pasta salad recipes. I made 1 the other night and it was delicious!

I also like to do a greek style one. Springs/bowties with chopped olives, red pepper (fresh or roasted) crumbled feta, and greek dressing. You can also add chickpeas and chopped cucumber.

I make one like this too, but I add fresh spinach as well.

I agree...that dressing is sooo good. In addition to what you put I also add cut up green olives and mozz cubes. Sooo yummy!!

I also added sun dried tomatoes and shredded carrots for color.
Top with the feta, chopped parsley and black olives for pretty colors.
I like Cardini's greek dressing - delish!

i like to make tortellini salad - tri color tortellini, cubes of provolone cheese, sundried tomatoes and red vinegar and oil dressing.
Greek pasta salad with feta, tomatoes, red peppers, olives and greek dressing.
pasta with fresh mozz, tomatoes, roasted red peppers and balsamic vinagrette.

I make a simple, healthy version that everyone always seems to enjoy (including people NOT watching what they eat)...
whole wheat pasta
chopped red, yellow & orange peppers
fat-free italian dressing
quick, easy, healthy & delish!!! 
ETA: Adding a little reduced-fat parm cheese once it's on your plate is yummy too

i used to always do the tri color with italian dressing and add in mozzarella, peppers, supersad (sp?) olives
but lately i have been doing more of a mediterranean pasta
whole wheat pasta
olives
artichoke hearts
onion
garlic
parsley/basil
sun dried tomatoes
crumbled feta
red wine vinegar
olive oil (more of this compared to vinegar)
dash of honey dijon
***add all ingredients to pasta
**mix the last 3 ingredients together in a bowl before pouring over pasta
