Anyone get hip pain when Oing?
Not in just the hip area, like where your ovary is, but your actual hip bone is actually achy?
This happens every month, its really painful for a few hours and then its gone.
I suspect this might be when I am actually Oing, but I dont know why it would be so painful. Fun fun fun.
Just curious.

I had O pains like that on my left side only. Actually I only had left side symptoms. When I O'd from the right side I never felt it, never was crampy while waiting for AF, etc -- but the left side, that is a different story!

Re: Anyone get hip pain when Oing?
I don't get pain in the hip area but I can feel something. I was concerned so I asked my OB and she said what I feel is normal but I don't know about that because it doesn't happen to anyone else I know.
I start getting pains as AF ends. It feels like a gas pain or what I'd imagine a hernia to feel like. I feel it around where my ovary would be. Each day it hurts more and more and then it starts hurting to the touch. The last day or two it feels like it is heavy and pulling and it makes sex less enjoyable because I feel like it's getting poked in certain positions. It even starts aching/burning towards the end and then the pain is gone. Happens every month and it lasts for about a week total but when the opk turns positive the pain is usually at its peak. Then about 2 days later the pain is gone so I'm assuming that means the egg was released.
The Doctor said it's the cyst growing on my ovary where the eggs are. Follicles I guess? I can feel it on both sides so I always know which side I'm ovulating from.
I googled ovulation pains a few times and I read that people get all sorts of pains and twinges so the hip pain is probably it for you.
