First Cycle off BCP and no AF yet
I just want to make sure this is normal to put my mind at ease. I was on the pill for almost a decade. This is the first cycle off. Before the pill I was incredibly regular, usually around 30 day cycles. Of course that was a long time ago. DH and I aren't actively TTC yet, just waiting for a couple of cycles to see if they've changed. Well I'm on CD36, still no sign of AF and I got a BFN this morning (which was expected). I'm hoping this is just a side effect of coming off the pill. Anyone else have this happen? Should I see my OBGYN if my cycle goes past a certain number of days? I haven't started using OPK tests yet so I have no idea when/if I ovulated. TIA!

I would take it as a side effect. I would be concerned after 2 months of no AF.
I've come off and had spotting or no AF for 3 months...I wasn't concerned...just assume my body was regulating its self.

It took me about 45 days to get my first period after coming off bc. It is normal to take a while for your body to regulate

it took me 44 days to get AF after I went off the pill. I would just wait it out but if you start to get like over 60 days maybe see the dr bc they can give you meds to bring on AF.

i just posted this type of question recently- i went off BC at the end of january and still no AF.. I think if by next month there is still no AF, i will make an appointment with my doctor. Also, i was on Loestrin which never made it come really, so I am not sure if that is a factor as well... good luck!

Totally normal.
If you go a long time with no AF and you want to get AF to start TTC...your dr. can probably give you provera. So I'd only see the dr. in that case. Otherwise it's normal and I'd just wait it out to see when you get AF.
I went 100+ days with no AF and was not ever prego during that time a few cycles after coming off BCP....my cycles are INSANE off the pill. SO abnormal and I do not have PCOS or anything.

Yep totally normal. I didn't get mine until CD35 the first month off and then it was only 2 days of spotting and a light day.

I agree with everyone...it is normal for your cycle to be "off" right after stopping the pill. my first month was 39 day and second month was 37 days long.
with my 3rd cycle i went to the doctor because my cycle went over 60 days and even at that point he didnt want to give me meds until after he got back results from some blood tests he took.

It took 40 days for me and on the day I called my docor guess who showed?? lol

It took me 6 weeks to get my period after stopping the pill. My body was a mess. Then my cycles sort of evened out.
