how do you feel about. . .
. . .mirrored closet doors?
i am trying to plan out our nursery and the baby's room currently has mirrored closet doors...(from old owners)
I don't think i love it, especially in a babies room... what are your thoughts?

i have a set in my house and i hate them!! i have two little ones and the mirrors always have finger prints and stuff on them. hard to keep clean.

My parents used to have them and they SUUUUUCK!!! They really are a pita to keep clean and they look horrendous. Plus the give me a schievy motel vibe...especially for a baby's room. Plus I would worry about them playing in there and breaking the glass and hurting themselves.
I would say put them on the short list for things on the outs

not a fan.
but HGTV has some good tricks to cover them or frost them or put something on them for decor purposes and they usually look really good.

I have sliding mirrored doors in DDs room. I was going to change them and never got around to it. I like it for now bc I can get her to do tummy time in front of them she loves staring at herself!

We had them (prev owner) & took them down ... we re-used the mirror and put them on the wall in the basement gym area (& framed it out w/moulding)

We added them to SD's room when she was about 9 years old. She's a dancer, a musician & a girl that loves to try on clothes. Having that much mirror provided hours of entertainment for her and her friends. With little kids I could imagine tons of fingerprints to clean.
We don't have them in any other room.

I don't think I'd spend the money to replace them if it was not necessary. Its not something I'd purchase now but if its already set up, I'd leave it. Like PP said, babies/kids love looking in the mirror.
Mirrors make the room look bigger which is nice.

I think I'd take them out of the master but leave them in kids room. At least it serves a purpose. I always liked having them inmy room as a kid.
