How much is a locksmith?
We have a broken deadbolt - it works from the inside to lock the door but the part that you stick your key into doesn't work, it won't unlock the door and now I think DH has his key stuck 
The deadbolt is part of the door knob.
Is this an easy repair to do myself? I am pretty handy.

it was 80-90 just to have them come for an estimate (assure in e northport)
we had a complicated lock issue (the lock locks at the bottom and the top of the door when you lift the handle) and it was $450 to fix (not even replace!)

you can just go to home depot and install it yourself. its easy....just a screwdriver and your set.
